Our Story

Hanley’s Eyewear Boutique was founded by owner Krysten Adams Lokmanis in May 2009. She comes from a family of entrepreneurs and has followed in her mothers footsteps, owner of Hanleys. She wanted to bring high quality frames and lenses to her clients as her mother has done with clothing and shoes. Her passion is to uncover fashion forward eyewear and bring it to the heart of Ancaster.

Our Vision

In Krysten’s early days as an optician, she had a vision. The vision was to offer a handpicked selection of upcoming eyewear designers and frames – all under one roof. Hanley’s Eyewear strives to offer personalized one on one service from licensed Opticians and takes pride in finding the prefect fit for men, women and children.

Frames & Lenses

The hand picked selection of frames offered to our clients comes from world’s leading eyewear manufacturers. To maintain the selection of unique inventory Krysten travels to Milan, Paris, Germany, New York, and Las Vegas, to uncover the latest eyewear trends and fashions. The magic is to discover brands with unique stories, so our clients can tell their story through their eyewear. 

We take pride in continually educating ourselves about the most recent technological advancements in lenses and coatings, as well as constantly updating our digital lenses for progressive and single vision wearers.
